Zeolites and porous materials are an important class of materials, which have wide application in catalysis, adsorption, ion-exchange, and host-guest assembly. Recently, the synthesis and preparative chemistry of such materials is developing rapidly. However, with the development of science and technology, to develop rational and highly efficient synthetic method becomes a central topic in the 21st century. Molecular engineering is a frontier subject in modern chemistry. Its difference between traditional chemistry lies in its reversed thinking way, that is, to design and synthesis the desired target materials based on the functional requirements. The main research of this group focuses on the investigation of the relationship among properties-structures-syntheses on the basis of our extensive experimental work, and aims to develop new strategies towards the rational design and synthesis of zeolites and porous materials with specified pore structures.
